A great day full of fruitful connections was had at the Bank of Montreal Chinatown Branch Small Business Trade-Show.  It’s Your Time was invited to attend to provide BMO’s Small Business clients some information about social media and how they could start effectively using it to engage their customers.

In it’s second year the focus is on keeping it intimate with select exhibitors that are offering valuable services requested by BMO clients.  As an exhibitor this was an amazing event.  The people attending had already identified our services as something they were interested in and the smaller scale of the event enabled us to have real conversations.  I can only imagine that the event was equally rewarding for BMO’s clients as they were not inundated with services they did not need nor want and the intimate size allowed them the time to meet with each other and the exhibitors in a refreshingly non-hurried fashion.

The common theme among attendees was that they knew social media was an important piece for engaging with current clients and reaching new clients but they did not have the time to figure out how to use it effectively.  We came away so jazzed after a day of shining some light on what is often seen as a murky area to entrepreneurs that we are going to be hosting a “Wine and Social Media” Event in the coming month.  If you have any questions about social media and how it could be used to expand your business comment below and or fill out our social media questionnaire.
